Return of Idlewild is a four-day, all-inclusive cultural retreat rooted in the legacy of Idlewild, Michigan.
Weekend tickets include lodging, meals, programming, and concert access—so once you arrive, everything is taken care of.

All Weekend Passes include:

  • Shared tents reserved for you and your selected group

  • Raised sleeping cots for comfort and airflow

  • Lighting and essential shared amenities provided

  • All meals for the weekend

  • Workshops, wellness, and water activities

  • Evening performances and concert access

*Horseback riding and rafting are not included and may be offered as add-ons.

*Add-on tent-set up at check out. Otherwise, your tent must be set-up upon arrival by your group.

  • Want to camp with friends?
    Easy — just list them.

  • If you’re arriving solo or without a full group, we’ll help place you thoughtfully.

Alternative Lodging Options

If tents aren’t your style, you’re welcome to explore cabins and other accommodations in surrounding Idlewild/Lake County.

  • Alternative lodging is not coordinated or vetted by Return of Idlewild.

  • Availability varies widely.

  • Any off-site lodging is at your own risk, and transportation to/from programming is your responsibility.

We recommend booking early if you go this route.

Showers + Restrooms

We will have designated portable restroom facilities and wash stations on-site.
Showers are available at nearby campgrounds within Idlewild and Lake County.
A list of shower locations will be included in your pre-arrival packet.

Safety + Security

  • The campground is staffed overnight.

  • Only ticketed guests may enter the camp area.

  • Quiet hours begin at 1:00 AM after late-night programming, out of respect for neighbors and the land.

  • Emergency contacts and campground policies will be provided via email.

Coming Solo?

You’re in good company. Many guests attend on their own.

If you don’t have a group, we’ll coordinate placement in your selected tent category.

Sharing space with your people is part of how memories get made.

Arrival + Check-In

Weekend guests may arrive on Thursday between 4 PM – 7 PM.
You’ll receive your tent assignment, weekend wristband, meal schedule, and a welcome kit.

Weekend Bus riders will arrive with the group and be guided to check-in upon arrival.

Weekend guests depart Sunday between 10 AM – 12 PM.
The Weekend Bus leaves Idlewild at 12 PM.
